How do I make a puzzle with my own photo?

Step 1: Choose the desired format of your photo. Please note: the size of your photo is important, if it is a square photo, for example, choose the size 50 x 50 cm and not 30 x 50 cm. The sharper the photo, the better the quality of the puzzle.

Photos with a clear blue sky, with plenty of water or other large areas in more or less the same colour are particularly difficult. How big is the photo puzzle?

A photo puzzle in 1000 pieces is approximately 50 x 70 centimeters. That is the size we use, so as not to make the pieces too small. The size of the individual pieces determines how large the puzzle as a whole will be. Larger pieces make it easier to complete the puzzle, but the overall size also increases. That is difficult if you want to frame the photo puzzle or use it in another way when you have finished it.

Smaller pieces would lead to a smaller puzzle, so you have enough space for it. In that case it becomes more difficult to remove the piecesdistinguish each other and put them together properly.
